Mission: To strengthen early developmental foundations by integrating play-based learning, caregiver education, and culturally responsive practices that promote healthy growth, emotional well-being, and school readiness in young children.
Vision: Helping young children thrive in nurturing environments.
PEA develops and pilots research-informed models focused on early development from birth through age seven. These initiatives emphasize intentional play, caregiver learning, and responsive adult–child interaction as key drivers of cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Current work includes the design and testing of guided play frameworks that help caregivers understand how everyday interactions support self-regulation, communication, and early learning readiness. Pilot initiatives are intentionally structured to generate professional insight, documentation, and models that may be adapted across diverse early childhood settings.
